What's in it for them???
Every time a customer screws up they sell replacement hardware. I
recall being handed a DLT tape drive and being told to connect it to the
SCSI bus. Which I did. As I recall, we smoked both the drive and the
controller. Somebody had ordered the right kind of drives which was
some single ended/LVD and some HVD. This information was not shared
with the front line troops with the predictable results.
