[Info-vax] Has any hobbyist tried getting patch access?

OK, but from my point of view this is in a different league.

I tend to avoid forums (fora?).  Mainly because I have to check.  I like
newsgroups: I can immediately see (only) new stuff, and hide stuff I
have seen or don't want to see.  If the signal-to-noise ratio is too
low, there are moderated groups.  Yes, there are a few specialised
forums and even blogs I follow, but the signal-to-noise ratio and
usefulness has to be really high to attract me, and the amount of new
material has to be of the right order of magnitude.
