While I'd very much love to share in your optimism, I'm not so certain
that the future of America can be brightened without getting the greedy
elitism out of Washington.  The current climate is one where there is
only a specter of "we the people" in control.  The real power is in the
hands of the Wall Street thugs.  Take a look over the past few decades
at who has been in control of the purse strings -- Wall Street insiders
hell bent on owning everything.

...and the song's lyrics keep resounding in my head...
