Hi Nathan,
Sorry mate have to say that I've been running remote decterms from VAX
to linux boxes for years and have never experienced any kind of delay,
be it using the multinet or native TCPIP stack.
I don't think therefore that there is any inherent problem - or maybe
I've just been lucky.
