Why not? :-)

Actually there's just under 2K lines of COBOL to go with it (to complete the 
web-server) but I find the FAB, NAM and XAB manipulation is best 
accomplished using Macro32.

If you can achive dynamic RMS control block allocation an manipulation 
easier or with less lines of code using another language then good luck to 
you. Personally I find that vanilla Macro32 fairly transparent.
