Create a pagefile large enough to hold a system dump on the system
disk with secondary pagefile(s) on another disk. Set the parameters
to retain any crashdump in the pagefile. On boot, "save" the
crashdump to another disk thereby freeing up the primary pagefile.

There is no need for a swapfile. Unless you have a severely memory
lacking system, it is extremely rare for any swapping to occur these
days. I don't have any swapfiles at all on any system. I do, however,
have secondary pagefiles. Even those are rarely used anywhere near
capacity.
