[Info-vax] Tadpole Alphabook 1 at last!

Um. there was a used, working, with the correct network card, tdpole
alphabook on ebay last week: I got it. Sorry to those who bid, and
missed.

But it had a docking station [???? never heard of one of those with a
alphabook] with it.
Questions:
My first task is to back  up the disk. Can I plug a ba356 in the back?
My ex-DEC colleagues tell me this done.
The dirve is user replaceable. but a feeble 1.2Gb. I can get 4/9/36
scsi 2.5 drives cheap. Worth a go? If anyone has a copy of the user
and service manual I will glladly pay.
Apart from chaining it to my wrist at any Openvms meetings. I will be
lugging it with me around the world at various conferences watch for
it (and me) at the VMware conference in Las Vegas end-August. Well the
laptop run a VM....
