Maybe you missed the part where I said I was able to offer
more detailed error information, but didn't have it available
to simply copy/paste it here?

Anyway, it seems that the VMS FAQ (as I just wrote, in my
previous reply) contains all the information.  I should've
known and looked into it directly...
