While your prediction may be correct, last I knew VMS still made good 
money for HP.  I don't think there is any pouring money into VMS.  If 
anything, VMS pours money into the rest of HP.  While I must admit that 
my info is 2 or 3 years old, I doubt that it has changed much since then.
