[Info-vax] What do HP's planned changes mean for VMS?

I would very much doubt that this is true at all.
Do you have some hard, publicly accessible information source 
backing this claim?
BCS, to which VMS belongs, has revenues around $2B (maybe $4B a few years ago),
with a profit margin of 10% at best.
Mostly, but not all of it on account of Itanic systems, of which the vast
majority (probably >90%) run HP-UX. This doesn't leave much room
for VMS to "pour" anything. A few droplets in an ink ocean, maybe.
