It was very clear to me that DEC had announced the porting of Digital
Unix to IA64. Perhaps it was not part of the Intel-DEC agreement on
Alpha, but my recollection is that it was part of that deal.

I distinctly remember because VMS was not included and that further
strenghtened the idea that Digital was not interested in the future of VMS.
