Thanks.  Suggestion: post a message a) with a title saying "VAX for 
free" or something and cross-post it to comp.sys.dec and comp.os.vms and 
even de.comp.os.vms.

At the moment, I have enough (VAX) hardware, and in any case it is 
enough for me if LaTeX works on ALPHA.  However, I'm sure there are 
still people looking for VAXen.
