Lack of new features means that systems setup years ago are stable and
very few new systems are being setup.  Lack of VMS discussion are not
the cause but rather a side effect of VMS losing importance/relevance.

And with VMS engineering gone (an in the case of FredK, really gone,
RIP), there are also fewer opportunities for deep down discussions and
explanations of why VMS did things a certain way.

I learned a lot from the former VMS engineers, from why the dreaded
RWAST existed to how to properly use wildcard in backup.
