Water and sewer are not city owned in my town. The town forced wells off
about 20 years ago so that their cronies could pipe cess in and out of our
homes. I haven't had a drink from my own kitchen tap in 20 years. It's
just too foul smelling and over chlorinated and over fluoridated for human
consumption. It even smells foul when showering.

There are half a dozen or more private carriers in my town. I have been
through 3 in the past year. Worked down to about $60/quarter to have the
trash hauled away.

3 different electrical co.s here too and 2 cable co.s.

Point is, competition has driven my services down. However, my taxes, and
I get nothing for them, keep going up. Maybe we need competing goverments?

You've never driven on the NJ or PA turnpikes, have you? Over-priced toll
roads engineered to crack suspensions. I believe they are in cahoots with
the tire and shock manufactures and the ASE ladden service centers.
