I'm the person who created the original (on topic) thread.
It would be nice when people go off topic if they would at least change
the subject line so that it's easier to spot the on topic messages from
the political ones.

PS: BTW, as long time Eisner residents will tell you, I am quite capable
of discussing subjects which, if raised in this forum, would probably
make the current thread size look amateur hour by comparison.
(And no, I am not going to be more specific than that; I don't intend
giving people other off topic things to talk about here.)
The difference is that I discuss those political type subjects in places
where they are on topic so that people who are not interested can ignore
them.
PPS: Sorry if the above is a bit testy, but I am having to wade through
most of these messages just to see if there's anything on topic.
