That's a very good point.  Though, the idea of having VMS in my
hands, would be amazing.  But, without a decent LK-type keyboard,
the experience would dwindle rapidly.  Also if they cut out many
DCL commands, a bit like they did with Android (with substitutes
like "BusyBox" instead).

Same here, I'm equally unimpressed with tablets and the whole hype
surrounding them.  I've also used both iOS and Android based ones,
the one I currently have is an Android one, by ASUS.

For all the faults of the iPad and iOS, I do really miss the program
"iSSH" a lot!  It included a very capable X server and it was able to
run DECwindows with unpatched VMS V8.4 over SSH.  A very nice touch,
if I may say so.  I even have a video on my website at DR (hosted at
YouTube) demonstrating this.

I haven't heard of any X servers for Android so far.
