   The phrase is "glass TTY", precisely because it's not
VT100-compatible.  It might be VT52-compatible (so EDT might
work), but I wouldn't bet on it.  (Unless you like line-mode
editing.)

   Saying that it's a VT100 doesn't make it a VT100.  A Web
search for, say:

      Lincoln  "how many legs"

may prove relevant.
