Of the tiny-kit purported-to-be-VT terminals, it's the better. I also
built another from Briel Computers called PockeTerm:

This one will not respect an LK keyboard AT ALL and it's VT100 escape
handling is pretty abysmal too. The source for the firmware was part
of the kit but without a "pissy" running WEENDOZE, it's not possible
to amend it.
I have an elaborate 6K+ line LIB$TPARSE table for VT escapes that has
been very well tested with VTTEST and numerous other tests along side
of real VTs (VT100, VT220, VT340, VT420, VT510 and VT525) and, save
that I didn't bother to actually implement the soft-fonts, it works
as perfectly as the aforementioned real terminals.
I think that both of these devices -- I prefer the Sparetimegizmo as
it will take input from a real LK layout keyboard -- could be made to
operate more like VTs if their respective designers/developers were
willing to spend a bit more serious the time on the firmware.

;)
I'm looking for a flat (really really flat) monitor screen. About a
17" to 19" really flat (like the screen of my 17" Apple MacBook Pro)
to work into a more portable version of a VT525. I've already cani-
balized another VT525 base, laid some components flatter and devised
a really low profile power-supply. My goal is to put the whole kit
in less than an inch, so if you know of a source for such a VGA-like
flat-screen, let me know.
