There are people who will put up cash to buy a Gasoline Powered 
Generator with the object of selling it in the aftermath of a hurricane.
You could buy one for your own use but few people actually do so until 
the power goes off.

I've been meaning to get one myself, for about the last five years!  One 
of these days. . . .
