Michael,
The Cerner RHO is a really nice setup, I had the privilege/misfortune
of working there for a year and a half - KC,MO is really a good-ole-
boy state and if you weren't from there - well, you just didn't last
long - especially if you knew what you were doing. I began the coding
for their perfornance monitoring stuff using T4 to be able to track
all sorts stuff for each cluster. Was even working with the AIX team
to capture their stuff in T4 format and used the Apache webserver on
VMS to display it all.
When I left (2004) they had over 150 VMS boxes ranging from DS10/10L -
GS1280's and 250TB+ of storage but, I think they have more than
doubled the storage by now. I do not know the status of the HSG80's
and the VMS boxes they did have, but I am sure I could find out if I
really wanted too..
Now I am back to being an Oracle DBA and RAC specialist on various
****X platforms.
