[Info-vax] Where is VMS used for new projects?

Since VMS is not marketed, few "new" customers adopt VMS these days.

In fact, HP execs over the years had limited their comments to
"supporting the installed base".

The very first day of HP owning VMS, they had the famous Stallard memo
where he noted that they woudl support VMS as long as needed, but
expected customer to migrate to HP UX in their own time.


It will be interesting to see what happens to IT systems with the
Deutsche Borse and NYSE merger.
