I understand the soure of the problem. I am spawning multiple
processes in Fortran code so I can run some useful commands on demand
from the DCL interface.
Someone suggested that I could mail the commands to a process that
performed the commands in serial order
Serializing the commands would be a good long term fix, but it takes
time to implement, obviously.
