   As I said, I sent a complaint to OpenVMS.Programs at hp, but
the fact that this problem was apparently a surprise to them
says much.  Similar complaints from _paying_ victims might
carry more weight, of course.

   When I'm at home, and the only computer I have on is my
main VMS system, I've mostly stopped participating in the HP
forums.  This may or may not be considered much of a loss to
anyone.
