Question:

In the real world, If HP were negotiating to get Oracle to continue to
develop its products for HP-UX (at least), how long would negotiations
last between the time of the oRacle aEOL announcement and the time where
HP/Oracle would hold a joint press conference to announce renewed
commitment to HP-UX ?


Or put it in other words: How long until after the initial EOL
announcement from Oracle can we expect this EOL to be real and permanent
and that HP will learn to live without Oracle on its enterprise systems ?
