I just tested this here. I have a script on my linux laptop which runs
through an deletes a number of cache directories. It's called: clean.sh.
$ ssh -p###22 vaxman at 192.168.2.235 /home/vaxman/clean.sh
(Note: I don't run ssh on the default port 22)
It ran, showing me the files being deleted, and then finished returning
me to my VMS box's DCL prompt.
