I much prefer to get the network up and retreat to the comfort of an 
office.  I suppose this dates back to the time when I could use a VT 
rather than hard copy console, but later on, the advantages of having a 
VT520 (with rudimentary copy/paste) or a DECterm session made me more 
productive / less prone to typos.
