Pretty hard o teach kids about peace and all when they are bombarded
with TV violence and the NRA that keeps saying that having a gun is a
god given right that is enshrined into the USA constitution and that
every american should have a gun.

A gun's only purpose in urban areas is violence.

Sure, a farmer may need a gun to kill off vermine/predators that
disrupts his crops or livestock. But that doesn't require that the right
to bear arms be enshirned in a constitution with such lobbying that it
is cast in stone and impossible to adjust or remove.
