Ya know what JF, I think the logic center in you pointy head is empty.  You have 
no basis for making that claim.

If we taught all children some decent moral values, and if we could do something 
about the environments that teach the violence, we'd do much more to reduce the 
violence, such that guns wouldn't be an issue.

How's this for a bee in your bonnet?  You're preaching about guns in the US. 
Are you aware that it is Canadian law that any aircraft operating in most of the 
Northern part of the country is REQUIRED to carry weapons?
