Um, yes. About that...
I dug around (some), and found zilch on rotatelogs related to OpenVMS.
Well, zilch beyond that embarassingly-worded /fixed rotatelogs bug/
one-liner.
Which leaves three approaches. The first is digging through the Apache
logs to see if there are any errors logged that might provide some
insight into where this is going off the rails. There's the approach
of digging through the Apache source code looking for whatever happened
with the rotatelogs source code and related baggage and whether there
are any related comments in the source code; reverse-engineering the
one-liner comment. And there's the third and usual approach of calling
up HP support, and letting them sort this out. Or maybe there are more
approaches than just three. The fourth would be testing without the
pipe.
It'd be nice to see this documented if/when there's a newer Apache port
available, and maybe a call to the support center might cause that to
happen.
