I've got a support contract so I suppose dropping them a note couldn't hurt. I'll do that first thing Monday.
Mean while, I need something ASAP to aid in web-server debugging/tuning so I cobbled together a few tidbits (posted here in COV by others in 2005) into a self re-submitting DCL script. It creates 31 subdirectories (if necessary) then rotates the Apache logs into one subdirectory based up the day number. This was a quick hack and will probably change a number of times within the next week, but anyone needing a copy can cut-n-paste from this link:

p.s. this all started when I noticed a zillion log entries for a missing file called "favicon.ico". If you don't provide one, tab-oriented browsers will continue to request it so do yourself a favor and comply because resistance is futile. It really made a difference on my system and my logs are a lot smaller.
