[Info-vax] Alpha tcpip Is now working With fedora linux

I now know what the problem was. When i set the nic to local link which is what you have to do. The ip Address that i assigned to it what over written by the default in the networked script in the /etc/sysconf/network-scripts directory file ifcfg-p6p1 file. here is ware i had to set the ip address to make it permanent. now it is working fine.



What i need now is how to set up dec window if anyone is still willing. sorry the last thread took so long and unproductive on my part. if i can get somene help. I no less about the alpha vms then vax vms I will be trying to install multinet.
