[Info-vax] Multia stuck booting into LAVC (OPENVMS v7.2)

I need some assistance.
I have a DEC 3000 and a Multia. I'm in the military and when I moved overseas I boxed them up and stored them as I knew I wouldn't have any enough room or time to play with them.

I'm back home now and have the DEC 3000 back up and running (OPENVMS 7.2) but I'm having trouble with the MULTIA.

I remember setting up the multia to be a workstation served from the DEC 3000 (can see a sys10 directory on the system disk).

When I do a Boot DVA0 at the >>> prompt I get "No Floppy Disk in Drive failed to open DVA0.0.0.0.1"

I issued b EWA0 and it starts the MOP boot and finds the host (DEC 3000) and says

bootstrap code read in
base = 15a000, image_start = 0, image_bytes = 70077
initializing HWRPB at 2000
initializing page table at 14c000
initializing machine state
setting affinity to the primary cpu
jumping to bootstrap code

and then it sits there and nothing futher...

on the DEC 3000 I can see OPCOM messages saying that it MOP'ed the <sys10.>[syscommon.sysexe]apb.exe (alpha image) to the multia followed by VMScluster start transition messages of proposal to add the node and that its completed the vmscluster state transition.

I can the node name with sho cluster but get "node not currently reachable".

I've forgotten a lot about VMS, so any and all help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Mike
