   Spiralog wasn't just incomplete, it was seriously broken.  UNIX is
   10 years older than VMS, still shows it, and folks actually think 
   of it as modern.
 
   But UNIX never suffered through low price/performance, lack of hype
   (aka stealth marketing), and executives directing customers to go
   elsewhere.
