Do you have any proof of purvhase, confirmation emails etc ? Or even a

Note: this could have been a tactic to get rid of you and close the
case. Remember that those drones are paid based on how quickly they
close cases and how many cases they handle.

Just tell them you run Windows 7. You don't need to install it, you just
need to give the drone informtion so he can fill his screen and click on
an OS version that is listed on that screen.
