I now seriously regret giving away some of my old kit. :-(
To think I flinched at the price of an RD54 in the late nineties. In
hindsight I was probably offered a bargain.
You only need one buyer who really needs them. Two buyers: obviously
better if you can get them bidding against each other.
A comment I recall from a hardware salesman in the late 80s: if you call
your usual suppliers for a rare piece of kit (which could also be new, we
aren't just talking about old kit here), by the end of the day you'll
possibly end up getting calls from other folks in the business hoping
you'll have it.
