[Info-vax] [OT] DVD burning issue (Mac/PC)

SFJI but I dunno where to ask my question :-) so I come to my Friends
(because, with a little help...)

I did some DVD burning on a MacBook/Lion and at the same time on a PC/
XP Easy Burner (Nero 11 fails for each and every DVD I tried). The DVD
contains video clips with a menu made with DVD Studio Pro 4 on the
Mac.

Both burned disks read on my DVD player in my lounge, on my Mac and on
my PC but not on my wife's old macbook (10.4). DVD Reader sez
"Unsupported Disk Format" (free translation from French "Disque pris
en charge non conforme"). I used DVD R+ disks from Verbatim.

What happens ? :-(

Should I use DVD R- to be downwards compatible or is there another
reason?
