Does anyone know the part number of the 'slimline' floppy diskette
drive in the Multia/UDB?  I can't find it anywhere on mine, only a
number ("5956A") that doesn't find me anything on the internet.  I
have reason to believe that mine is defective, because no matter
what I do, I keep getting the dreaded "No Floppy Disk In Drive"
error message.

I tried an floppy diskette drive, which used to be installed in an
old laptop (with the similar flat-cable interface), but it wasn't
recognized in the SRM.
