One is that I don't know the i2000 at all. How much do they cost?

The RX2600 seems relatively quiet, though not the most convenient
shape. My wife used to have a Proliant 380 at home, about the same
size but a lot louder.

The Itanium processor takes a lot of power, no matter the box.
Though hopefully, as usual for CMOS, less power when it isn't working
so hard.
