Project Odyssey has nothing to do with Itanium. It is all about scaling
the 8086 to Superdome class machines to become HP's main BCS offerings.

If you look at Oracle's claims against HP as well as HP's announcement
of Odyssey, it all falls into place nicely.

And yes, Odyssey involved porting HP-UX enterprise features to Linux to
make it easier for HP-UX customers to move to Linux on 8086s.
