There are many overpriced items on ebay now that will never sell.

It used to be that there was a minimum listing charge, but now you
get some number free per month. Even so, someone can list many
such items, and if they sell one it pays for all the listings
that didn't sell.

It might be about 10 years ago that I bought a 3100-30 for
about $20, plus shipping. But now the prices are going up.

There might still be Alpha or Integrity systems for hobby prices, though.

You might also put a saved search with a price limit, so ebay will
email you when a low priced VAX comes along.
