[Info-vax] OpenVMS Technical Journal v18 and Flash

My current version of the Adobe Reader isn't able to open the latest
edition of the Journal [1] because there is no Flash Player installed on
my system (intentionally). It simply complains

| To view the Flash® technology content in this PDF file, please
| install this version of Flash Player that supports Adobe® Reader®
| and Acrobat®.

and then wants to download software from the Internet [2]. I don't see
any chance to open that PDF document ignoring the Flash content.

Is HP now going "really crazy"(TM)??
