But I see what you mean, the V17 journal opens a fancy
chapter-selection application (probably written in Flash).
Not that this is either uncommon on todays internet, or that it
is particular "crasy", but I agree that it isn't realy needed...
Besides, you can simply open each individual chapter one at a time.
They are plain standard PDFs.
