Well, the post specifically mentioned Unix, and there is
no support in OC for VMSismes. It is more suited to
either IBM downsizing, or Microfocus/Fujitsu replacement.

No more development for an FOSS project does not implies
death. Anybody (with some specific competences) can take
the baby again at any time.
