Yes, it is, and we've got some already implemented. But we don't try to run them on VMS
for several reasons. Our VMS servers are efficient enough to be able to feed and accept
data to / from multiple web servers with ease.
The bloat-ware that is used to implement some of these things is staggering. Maybe I'm
just too old to appreciate bloat-ware. I really don't. And maybe I'm out-dated myself.
It just seems to me that communications is one thing. The current practices of making
encryption part of the application, rather than underlying the communications, isn't too
bright. Unfortunately, that seems to be the norm.
