Bloatware. The first computer I programmed for had 4K of core memory.
Some of
today's programmers couldn't do "Hello World" in 4K.

AFA encryption, I think it needs to happen at whatever layer it's
needed. The new
stuff doesn't need the application to know anything about encryption,
unlike in
the past.

There was a cartoon going around not too long ago that said:

"Now that I'm older I thought it was great that I seemed to have more
patience. Turns out I just don't give a shit."

I think I've reached that stage. I try to just go with the flow and
let the
young folks joust with the windmills.
