In fairness, Digital did some pretty good marketing, but just not
broad enough. In the US, DEC underwrote the PBS program "Nightly
Business Report" from 1982 until the Compaq sale. Compaq continued the
sponsorship but HP dropped it.

NBR is losing share to competition but it still has a good share of
the 35-64 age viewer market.

I watched the show during the 80's-90's and thought it was pretty cool
to see the set evolve with VT's, Rainbows, PRO's and d|i|g|i|t|a|l
prominent in the background.
