A look at
http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/other/display/20120822223002_Sales_of_HP_s_Business_Critical_Itanium_Based_Servers_Hit_Five_Years_Low.html
reveals that HP's BCS revenue has steadily declined to less than half
of what it was five years ago,
with the Oracle decision not even visible.
I'm not aware that IBM's or Sun/Oracle's
server divisions experienced similar bleeding.
