Call HP Support.   This could be a hardware problem, or this could 
easily be a software bug; a PTE corruption.
Resolution will probably require some digging, in the error logs and in 
your patch history, and your hardware.
You'll undoubtedly be encouraged to upgrade OpenVMS Alpha, and patch to 
current, too.  Old releases have old bugs, after all.
