Back when I had several ES40s, I had to make sure the CPU boards were the 
latest revs.  Older revs had issues.  I also remember that a batch of memory 
DIMMs had issues as well.  I don't remember the details (it was several 
years ago).

Sorry to be vague, but I tossed all my Alpha support docs when I moved.
