Unless my French is slipping, that is nothing but "System Folder" in French.

Yeah, but these are vanilla systems dating back to when most mac users
were, in fact, "users".   No hacking of the System Folders.  These just
stopped working.  I never determined what was wrong other than some form
of corruption of the system files.  And, to be quite honest, I am not
going to waste any time trying to do post mortems.  I have two working
systems and they should meet my needs if I can find a way to get Mac
software on them.  A daunting task in itself!!!
